AMEXCI is a consortium of 11 Swedish industrial companies located in Karlskoga, Sweden. They are fully focused on Additive Manufacturing, covering several topics along the value chain, including research, education and AM production in metal and polymer.

The course can be organized at their facilities, granting access to their entire pool of AM equipment and experts.
Alternatively, the course can be performed online (see teaching style for more information) or at your facilities.
The course is optimized for 2 days. Depending on the level of detail of different process steps, the duration can be adjusted.

The course is based on lectures and hands-on work in the AMEXCI materials lab. Throughout the course you will get the possibility to discuss your company’s individual situation with experts from AMEXCI and other participants.
Course Overview
The course is targeted towards materials engineers and other engineers that are interested in the end-to-end Additive Manufacturing process. Throughout the course participants will discuss a wide range of topics including an overview of the current status and trends of powder materials for metal AM, key points during material selection and powder analysis, printing and post-processing.
Objectives
- Get an overview of the material’s market and trends for Metal LPBF
- Understand the different factors influencing the final part properties like powder analysis, printing parameters and post processing
- Experience the work in an Additive Manufacturing material’s lab
